Swan Plant Hire (Dublin) Ltd have prepared a Safety Statment which states the means provided to achieve the approved Safety Policy.  Our aim is to provide a safe & healthy environment for all employees as far as is reasonably practicable and to meet our duties to contractors and members of the public who are affected by our operations.  The success of the policy will depend on everyone's co-operation. 


Staff are encouraged to put forward suggestions for improvements to the statement.  The company recognises its safety, health and Welfare obligations under the Safety, Health and Welfare Act 2005, the Construction Regulations 2006, the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Applications) Regulations, 1993 Part X, the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Applications) Regulations, 2007 & Amendment.  Together with all relevant Irish & European Community Safety Legislation current and pending.

General Statement of Policy & Commitment

It is management policy of Swan Plant Hire (Dublin) Ltd in so far as is reasonably practicable, to seek and provide safe and healthy working conditions for the company's employees, providing information, training and supervision and to enlist the active support of all employees in achieving such conditions.

It is the policy of management at Swan Plant Hire (Dublin) Ltd:


1. To provide and maintain, as far as is reasonably practicable, a safe and healthy working environment for employees of this company and others who may be affected by company operations.

2. To ensure that all employees realise they have a responsibility to co-operat with Management to achieve a healthy and safe workplace and to take reasonable care of themselves and others.

3. To consult with all staff and employees on matters of health and safety.

4. To co-operate with, and seek the co-operation of clients, main contractors, sub-contractors and enforcing autorities, to ensure work is carried out in a safe manner.

5. To review the contents of this Safety Statement periodically as changes occur in this operation and to ensure this document is relevant.

6. To bring the contents of the Safety Statement to all employees attention by providing them with access to the document.

7. To provide sufficient resources for the implementation of this policy.
